I usually order the thing on the menu I’ve never heard of. Most of the time, I don’t like it, because I’m veerrrrryyy picky. And the waitress always asks how is everything, and I automatically say everything grEAT, thank you so much this pigeon gizzard taco is to dIE for, thanks again. And yeah, most of it is a lie, but the thank you is genuine. Because even when the food is bad, the thrill I get from trying things that could turn out to be incredible, is worth it.
Writing is like that. It’s all trying trying trying bad bad bad, until suddenly you surprise yourself with something THIS IS IT, THIS THIS THIS.
